What you get

With Fun Kids Entertainment, you are getting a completely original song written especially
for your child.  You can decide what the emphasis of the song is, whether it’s a birthday, a
holiday, or a celebration of your child’s accomplishment.  And you will receive an original
song complete with original lyrics and melody expressly for your child.  You get to choose
what style of song your child will receive based on his/her age & preferences.  

Your child’s CD will include:

  • one track with professional recorded vocals and music
  • one track of music w/o vocals for your child to sing along to
  • a personal CD case with words to your child’s song

Or you can choose an original poem for your child beautifully written on a certificate that
they can frame and hang on the wall.  

Why we’re unique

Most sites that claim to offer personalized songs are aimed at preschool aged kids and do
no more than insert your child’s name into a pre-written, pre-recorded song.  Some do ask
for a bit more information like a pet or a friend’s name, but the song itself is still just an
impersonal, pre-written template.

With Fun Kids Entertainment, not only do we customize the lyrics to be a song about your
child’s life, you get to choose the songs style whether it’s a pre-school type song or more
popular style suitable to kids age 6-10 or older.

Who we are

All songs are written and recorded by Laura Danilov and Andy Gabrys.

Laura Danilov is a professional singer/songwriter and musical improviser with years of
experience performing in and around New York City and Los Angeles.  She is a private
singing coach and a trained teacher of the Williamson Physical Technique for Actors.  In
addition to her various acting and singing gigs around NYC, she starred in her own one
woman show entitled "C is for Cabaret" and recorded "The Many Minds of Me", a CD of
her original songs.  Laura is also a Professional Life Coach affiliate of Accomplishment
Coaching and Owner and Executive Director of In the Company of Women, "empowering
through evocative conversation".  Her most exciting and fulfilling continuing creative
endeavor is the birth and rearing of her first child, Aleksander in October of 2005.  

Andy Gabrys is a guitarist, composer, and producer, originally from Chilliwack, BC,
CANADA.  Upon moving to New York City in 2005, Andy created Andy Gabrys Music,
www.andygabrys.com, specializing in commercial composition and production, and
culminating in a recent contract composing and producing for CTW's Sesame Street.  He is
a member of the Manhattan Producers Alliance and A.F.M. Local 802, and is affiliated with
BMI.  In early 2008, Andy released his first CD as a leader - entitled "Constant".  Andy
attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA (Summa Cum Laude - Jazz Composition,
December 2004) on a scholarship.  Prior to graduating from Berklee, in the summer of
2003 he had the opportunity to play guitar in the Hugh Fraser Jazz Orchestra Residency at
the renowned Banff Centre, Banff, AB, Canada.

Andy is a proud parent to Alex Gordon Gabrys, born September 2008, who provides
endless joy and a chance to be present and creative in every moment.
